Systems Administrator - O365 and Azure

JOB SUMMARY:
The O365 and Azure System Administrator provides administration, support, and adoption assistance to One Call.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the transformation to cloud related technologies dependent on SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS vendors
  • Communicates with users and information technology staff to keep them informed of project progress so that neither the Information Technology department nor One Call make unrealistic commitments to users or clients.
  • Responsible for supporting on-premises Exchange 2010, Exchange 2013, Windows Servers "2008, 2012, 2016" and O365
  • Support for on-premises Exchange and O365 Hybrid environment, Active Directory and Microsoft Azure and Intune Services.
  • Migrating mailboxes, Shared mailboxes and public folders from On premise exchange server to Exchange online
  • Informs management of information technology goals, achievements, project status, turnover, etc.
  • Ensures compliance with all standards and procedures as set forth in documented One Call Care Management guidelines and documented information technology guidelines. Makes suggestions to improve such standards and procedures and documents them.
  • Participates in special task forces and adhoc committees to explore cost savings measures, review new corporate requirements and business needs. Directs the gathering and organizing of information and makes presentations as required.
  • Researches current and emerging technologies that may be applied to current or future One Call operations.
  • Assists with and supports the development deployment, and integration of various One Call Care Management information systems for the purpose of supporting short and long term One Call Care Management objectives. Responsible for the support of One Call Care Management objectives through the development, deployment, and integration of software solutions that: 1) increases productivity, 2) generates revenue, 3) reduces costs, 4) supports internal operations.
  • Assists the network administrator in achieving annual goals set forth by the Vice President, Information Technology and Senior Management.


EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) with a MIS or Computer Science disciplines or emphasis; one (1) to two (2) years of Microsoft Server Support; or equivalent combination of education, training and/or work experience.
  • Preferred but not require certifications include: MCSA, Office 365, MCSE, Mobility, MCSE (cloud), ITIL certification

Professional Requirements:

  • Extensive understanding of Information Systems within a Microsoft infrastructure environment.
  • Hands-on experience in administering large O365, Exchange 2016, Exchange 2013 or 2010 hybrid environments.
  • Experience in administering Active Directory environment using Windows 2008 or 2012 Servers.
  • Hands-on technical implementation and support of IaaS and PaaS solutions in Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
  • Experience in PowerShell
  • Experience in Exchange Online Protection (EOP&ATP)
  • Experience in Microsoft Office365 Online product Suite such as SharePoint online, Skype for Business, OnDrive, Teams, and Planner.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Must have strong organizational skills to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  • Must have the ability to work on several projects simultaneously.
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
  • Must be able to display strong interpersonal, oral, written and research skills and have the ability to communicate with others in a professional environment.
  • Must have the ability to work independently, using solid judgment and be capable of setting priorities and following through.
  • Must have the ability to work after hours and weekends if necessary. Travel may be required on a minimal basis.
