SVP, Medicare Business Development

The primary focus of this role will be to generate national business development opportunities by leveraging OneCall’s value within the Managed Care market.  This sales professional will be responsible for initial discussions with clients and their interests in using OneCall as their ancillary product partner with an initial focus on the transportation benefit. 


GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Sell One Call services by establishing contact, developing relationships, gaining trust, understanding needs, offering/providing value which ultimately leads to closing a sale
  • Contribute to business development by collecting, analyzing and summarizing market opportunities across all 50 states
  • Attend national conferences and tradeshows with a focus of meeting new clients and generating top sales funnel opportunities
  • Assist in building RFP strategy and providing feedback and guidance to the proposal team throughout the procurement process
  • Work with product and marketing to develop market segment messaging, positioning of products and sales collateral needs
  • Identify and communicate product improvement opportunities based on industry trends, market activities, competitor advantage and customer needs
  • Grasp complex concepts and gain an understanding of the transportation benefit as well as the ability to quickly demonstrate product and industry knowledge, including value-driven solutions, market strategies and competitive intelligence
  • Develop customized presentations for client meetings with a strategic process to ensure that we are discussing the transportation requirements specific to their particular market(s)
  • Assist with client sales meetings and provide product demos as needed either in person or teleconference
  • Work on special projects and task forces as assigned

 EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A or B.S.) required, Masters (M.A, M.S., or M.B.A) preferred
  • 20 years relevant managed care and business development experience

  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access.
