Medicaid National Product Leader
The Product Manager is an internally focused position which establishes the delivery of the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for a specific product or product line, including marketing and forecasting.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assists in delivery of product strategy, articulates detailed user stories, leads product ideation and development, and drives the product strategy and vision sufficient to build and maintain alignment at all times.
• Defines and prioritizes product features.
• Manages requirements throughout the life cycle of a product, including leading requirements gathering from all stakeholders, including customers, partners, provider, sales, finance / IT, management, operations and product management. 
• Ensures properly set priorities, feature alignment with goals and provides clearly defined IT specifications, internal resourcing needs and features for sales, operations and provider.
• Creates and shares visual product roadmaps which drives organizational consensus and support for where the product is headed.
• Provides a mechanism to determine what level of development investment is required to deliver the features and functionality specified in the roadmap.
• Provides a framework for the entire organization to plan for the future of the product.
• Develops a mechanism to capture customer and market feedback on where the product is headed.
• Establishes product goals and maps them to initiatives.
• Establishes project plans and related goals which are measured by quantifiable metrics. 
• Maps goals to high-level initiatives in order to measure progress and ensure product features are delivering unique value for the business.
• Integrates product data with other tools (Salesforce) to allow collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams.
• Serves as internal product expert and “go-to” resource for the rest of the organization.
• Acts as product launch manager when appropriate for new products or rollouts of major releases. 
• Leads a cross-functional team to successfully communicate value and support users when teams plan a product release.
• Maintains alignment to the release plan managing critical sequencing and dependencies, as well as tracks all technical and non-technical work centrally. 
• Works closely with the Marketing team to assess and memorialize value proposition materials that illustrate competitive positioning. 
• Works closely with the Proposal and Sales Teams to contribute in developing proposal material to satisfy competitive solicitations and opportunities. Reviews final RFP of Client Proposal prior to submission. In depth knowledge of target markets, competition, strategy, and positioning for each product in the managed portfolio.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) and/or a Master’s degree (M.A., M.S. or M.B.A.); or five (5) plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Complete understanding of the full range of One Call’s products and services.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written for interpersonal communication and collaborative management.
• Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives.
• Displays strong leadership qualities, decision making abilities, and strong business judgment.
• Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, negotiating, and presentation skills.  Strong public speaking and presenting skills preferred.
