Lead Product Analyst

Advanced professional role. Highly-skilled with extensive proficiency. Develops and implements complex solutions that require analysis and research. Works on multiple projects as a project leader or frequently as the subject matter expert. Works on projects/issues of medium to high complexity that require demonstrated knowledge across multiple analytical areas and business segments. Coaches and mentors more junior data analysts. Works under minimal supervision on complex projects. Wide latitude for independent judgment. Typically requires 6 or more years of demonstrated data analysis experience with at least one project as the lead on a “large” project with mastery level excel experience and strong proficiency in SQL database.

Conduct in-depth analysis to evaluate program performance and communicate One Call value to both internal and external clients. Analyze industry trends and results to support strategies.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct analyses and develop presentations on book of business or client performance. Work closely with Sales Team to understand client needs to inform approach to analysis and delivery of findings.

Present analysis findings to customers and work directly with clients to iterate on key deliverables (e.g., dashboards, scorecards)

Create proactive analyses comparing our results to industry data to evaluate program performance for internal management and external clients

Identify and research anomalies and outliers in data

Identify problematic areas and conduct research to determine the best course of action to correct the data

Identify process improvement opportunities and work with key stakeholders to develop and implement effective solutions

Participate in high level business initiatives and assist with all levels of metric reporting

Performs the analysis, exploring all appropriate options, and performing constant validation against existing data/reporting throughout

Serves as data steward to validate high profile or external data to ensure accurate reporting

Monitor and perform trend analysis for the company and research report on anomalies

Develop optimal data management and reporting practices, including best practice identification

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree required in Economics, Business Administration, Finance or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Knowledge of One Call products and services

Beginner to Intermediate SQL querying skills

Beginner to Intermediate of Tableau and/or PowerBI

Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint

Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Business Objects/Business Intelligence experience desirable

Typically requires experience in relational database structures, research methods, sampling techniques, and system testing

Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially in conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Problem solving; ability to think creatively and define new approaches to analyze data and summarize findings to answer client questions and convey One Call value

Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities

Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and provide validation of results

Strong analytical skills and ability to identify appropriate analytical approaches depending on the business need

Strong presentation skills; comfort with and ability to clearly communicate findings directly to clients (via phone, webinar, in person)

Health care experience preferred
