Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst II, Sales, will provide prescriptive reporting and analysis to members of the Sales force by performing various functions such as analyzing referral & revenue trends, researching causation, and delivering timely, accurate and meaningful, actionable analysis and feedback.


GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform queries, format reports, interpret data, and provide on-point analysis focused on driving decisions

  • Analyze and report individual sales performance against previous year and most recent months, to identify opportunities for territory improvement

  • Analyze each sales region to determine sales growth potential by Carrier and Product

  • Work collaboratively with sales leadership to enhance the level of prescriptive analysis through consistent feedback, and meet with sales teams to ensure analysis and corrective measure suggestions are on-point.

  • Responsible for the production of weekly, monthly and ad hoc reporting that provides all sales teams with results that are easily understood and quickly identify opportunities for revenue improvement

  • Assist with improving and automating current reports, streamlining processes as new enterprise tools become available, and freeing time for higher levels of analytical studies of sales results

  • Provide consultative and technical support as required to Sales colleagues

  • Perform duties assigned by management

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Accounting or Finance or equivalent combination of education and work experience.  Experience with reporting and analysis, interpreting data requests, and developing meaningful reports in multiple formats required. Healthcare industry experience desired but not required.

  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.

  • Knowledge of OCCM products and services preferred

Financial Analyst I

Intermediate professional role. Moderate skills with high level of proficiency. Works under general supervision with increased latitude for independent judgment. Identifies non-routine issues and routes/escalates to appropriate team member. Works on multiple concurrent projects of medium complexity. Is an active team member, contributes to complex projects to gain experience, shares ideas and suggests process improvements appropriate for level of experience. Consults with senior peers on semi-complex processes to learn through experience. Typically requires a minimum of 3 to 5 years professional experience in a finance role or related discipline.
